Saltillo-John Michael Francis, 60, better known as Frog by friends and family left this world Saturday, May 12, 2018 due to an unexpected illness. Frog was born on October 1, l957 in Tupelo to the late John Prather and Sarah Hunter Francis. He was a l976 graduate of Saltillo High School and attended Mississippi State University where he was a member of the Maroon Jazz Band. Frog was a great storyteller and practical jokester. To honor his life and memory, a private service will be held in the Tupelo Room at Holland Funeral Directors with family friend, Bro. Jay Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in the Francis family plot at Euclatubba Cemetery. Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo Chapel is honored to be serving the family.

Celebrating the life of Michael "Frog" Francis
Thank you for signing Michael "Frog" Francis's Guestbook
It is obvious from the kind expressions that Mr. Francis will be sadly missed by all who knew him. May you find comfort in knowing death, sickness & sorrow were not God’s purpose for mankind and his purpose has not changed. His word is clear, “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces”. (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:4)
Further, Jesus guaranteed the coming resurrection (John 5:21, 28, 29), he performed resurrections and was himself resurrected by his Father. All resurrections took place on earth, giving us a glimpse of what is to come.... seeing our loved ones again! (Acts 24:15)
Until his promises are fulfilled, may Jehovah God continue to bless & comfort you in the days ahead....

Alan and family...I was saddened to hear of the passing of Frog. I remember him like it was yesterday and I hadn't seen him in many, many years. In High School, he was always so precious and kind to others. I know your hearts are hurting. May God give you comfort and peace through your precious memories. Rest In Peace Frog...
