Tupelo - Patty Ludene Williamson, 71, passed away September 30, 2017, at Diversicare in Tupelo, MS. surrounded by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Williamson; parents, Otis and Irene McCain; and sister, Linda Holmes.
She will be missed by her two children, Russell Williamson (and wife Neresa) of Houston, TX and Rebecca Frazier (and husband David) of Tupelo, MS; and three grandchildren, Matthew Williamson (and wife Charity) of San Antonio, TX, Morgan Williamson of Houston, TX, and Geoffrey Frazier of Tupelo, MS. Patty is survived by two brothers, Clyde McCain (and wife Mertie) of Eupora, MS, and Bobby McCain (and wife Shirley) of Eupora, MS and numerous nieces and nephews.
Patty grew up in Eupora MS and graduated high school in 1964. She spent most of her adult life in Jackson MS and was a faithful member of Grace Church of the Nazarene. Patty was a homemaker with a smile that could light up a room, she enjoyed attending church, singing, and volunteering with the Salvation Army.
A service celebrating her life will be held at 3 PM, Monday, Oct. 2, 2017, at Popular Creek Nations Baptist Church in Kilmichael, MS. Burial will Follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 PM until service time Monday only at the church. Rebecca and Russell, I remember the good times your mom and I had while we were serving refreshments at vacation bible school every summer at Grace Church. We did this together for many years. She was a good friend. She was so proud of you two. I am so sorry for your loss.

Russell and Rebecca, I'm so sorry for the loss of your mother. I will always remember Patty from our days at Grace Church and having so much fun with her in the choir. She will be missed.
