Obituary

Tupelo – Mr. Brian David Edwards, 46, died suddenly, Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at North MS Medical Center. He was born in Booneville, MS on November 14, 1970 to David Edwards and Brenda Brawner Edwards. He spent his childhood in Wiggins, MS and moved to Columbus in 1988, graduating in 1989 from RS Caldwell High School in Columbus. He continued his education at Itawamba Community College. He graduated from the Police Academy and earned his Pilot’s license. He was truly successful in his career being World Sales Champion 56 times for Thermax, Inc. and serving as National Sales Director. He later worked as salesman for RexAir, Inc. He also won the Crown Prince Award, U.S.A. while employed by RexAir. He was currently self-employed working as a sales consultant.
Brian married his wife, Donna Smith Edwards on July 28, 1990 and they made their home in Tupelo where they were raising their two daughters. He was a member of Corner Stone Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was an avid Ole Miss fan.
A celebration of life service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 13, 2017 in the Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Rev. Nelson Hight and Rev. Jeff Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in Lee Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to service time. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Donna Edwards of Tupelo; his parents, David and Brenda Edwards of Corinth; two daughters, Hannah Grace and Hallie Marie, both of the home; one brother, Bradley Edwards (Tefinie) of Corinth; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harlon and Kay Smith of Saltillo; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Candace and Jon Bishop of Saltillo, four nieces and 2 nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Billy and Hilda Brawner of Corinth and Rev. Lee J. Edwards (Faye) of Columbus.

Pallbearers will be Carey Edwards, Shawn Edwards, Shane Robbins, Gary Lovern, Rickey Kimbrell, and Keith Anglin.
