Kimberly "Kim" Mims

May 25, 1969 - June 22, 2013

Mantachie – Ms. Kimberly Feist “Kim” Mims, 44, died unexpectedly Saturday, June 22, 2013 at North MS Medical Center. She was born in Minot, North Dakota, May 25, 1969 to Leonard Feist and Linda Anderson. She was a graduate of Surrey High School, Surrey, N.D. and worked as a customer representative in the insurance industry for many years. Kim moved to North MS twelve years ago, working 7 ½ years at Acceptance Insurance Company before becoming disabled. Kim was a very talented crafter, enjoying all types of crafting, crocheting and yard selling. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She attended Living Water Community Church in Tupelo and, more recently, Baselia Baptist Church in Mooreville.

Survivors include her mother, Linda Anderson of Minot, N.D.; her companion of 12 years, Michael Gann of Mantachie; 1 son, Travis Drew Mims of Gadsden, AL; 2 daughters, Courtney Marie Mims of Gadsden, AL and Haleigh LeShae Gann of Mantachie; 3 step-daughters, Brittney Gann of Mantachie, Shanine Mims of Gadsden, AL, and Brandi Nichols of Belton, MO; brother, Steve Feist (Karen Anderson) and sister, Lenore Dunn-Feist (James Murray-Feist) all of Minot, N.D; 3 grandchildren, John Barnett of Gadsden and Aurora and Chloe Nichols, both of Belton, MO. She was preceded in death by her father and grandchild, James Barnett.
